When you visit our website www.digilatent.com (the "Website"), use our mobile application, as the case may be (the "App”) or more generally, use any of our services (the "Services", which include the Website, App, and any other platform we may use to provide our services), we may collect certain information. Please read through it carefully. If there are any terms in this Policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.

1. TYPES OF INFORMATION

a. Generic/Personal Information- As the name suggests, this is general information such as name, age, phone number, email address, username, password, IP address, etc. All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

 

b. Transaction Related Information- We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment method number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment method.

 

c. Social Media Login Information- We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, such as your Facebook, Gmail, LinkedIn, or other social media accounts. If you choose to register through such accounts, we may collect information relating to this account.

 

d. Other Information- Any and all information, such as device, network information, the information you share with us when you contact us for help, the information you enter into our system when using our platform, such as while registering for the first time, etc.

2. INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED

We may automatically collect certain information when you access the Services, whether through the Website or our App. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device such as your IP address, browser, and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services and other technical information. b. Device Access: We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's reminders, SMS messages, storage, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so through your device settings.

Device Data: We may collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer), operating system, version information, and system configuration information, device, and application identification numbers, browser type and version, hardware model Internet service provider and/or mobile service provider, and Internet Protocol (IP) address (or proxy server).

d. Notifications: We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the App. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may limit permissions for the same through your device settings.

 

 This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our App for troubleshooting and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

We use personal information collected through our Services for a variety of legitimate business interests as described below:

We may offer you the ability to register and login to the Services using your third-party social media account details (such as Facebook or Gmail logins). The profile information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned but may include your name, contact details, pictures, contacts, and any other information you have chosen to make public on such social media platforms.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete, anonymize, or pseudonomize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures for the purposes of protecting the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our commitment to data security, no information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security, and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, you acknowledge and agree that transmission of personal information to and from the Services is at your own risk. Additionally, in the course of our Services, we may provide links to sites operated by organizations other than us that we believe may be of interest to you and third-party platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and/or any other video communication platforms, to effectively carry out the Services. Account Information

We reserve the right to delete your account/information supplied if we find that the Generic/Personal Information about you that is inaccurate, incomplete, or irrelevant for legitimate purposes, or are being processed in a way that infringes any applicable legal requirement.

 

Right to request deletion of the data - Request to delete

You can ask for the deletion of your personal information. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will respect your request and delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law, such as (but not limited to) the exercise by another user of his or her right to free speech, our compliance requirements resulting from a legal obligation or any processing that may be required to protect against illegal activities.

Additionally, we also engage with various third parties, including but not limited to Circle and Thinkific, whose practices and privacy policies may differ. A request to delete data from Our database extends to the data which has been collected and is in our database alone and does not include the information which has been retained and collected by third parties. In order to request deletion of data collected by third parties as well, please reach out to the concerned third party in this regard. We are not responsible for any data unlawfully retained by third parties beyond the scope of Our control.
